    Default Changing the sidebox titles

    Am I just being silly? I want to change the name of what the sideboxes say. What I mean is I wanted to put payment logos into one of them but it says our sponsors and have you seen.

    Can this be changed and can I have one that is permanent for my payment logos (like paypal etc). My site is at www.printinginprogress.co.uk if you need to see what I mean.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jason.

    english.php
    Code:
      define('BOX_HEADING_BANNER_BOX2','Have you seen ...');

    Ichecked and cannot find that line. I had this problem with comething in css too and i was advised to just add it. I do not know enough about this html, php and css to just add something. I am trying to learn but where would I just add it (if that is anyones suggestion)?

    Also, once that one is changed I want the one banner to appear in just that one box, is this possible?

    You wouldn't just add it. The advice you were given about adding to your CSS file was correct. However, this is different. The constant is definately defined in includes/languages/english.php so you must edit it, not add it again (which could cause you to get "already defined" errors). If you have your own template folder structure (recommended) you would amend it in the includes/languages/YOUR_TEMPLATE_FOLDER/english.php.

    Read Kuroi's post carefully. He gives the location of the file and the kind of statement to look for.

    To find where a particular heading is defined, use the Developer's Toolkit in admin > Tools. Copy the desired text into the space at the top left and select all files on the right. You can narrow the search if you wish. That will give you the file and line number you need to edit.

    I hired the services of one Hercule Poirot and he has helped to solve the riddle with the assistance of Miss Marple, Columbo, Sherlock Holmes and Inspector Clueso.

    The sidebox titles have now been changed.

    Thank you for your help one and all!

    I expect that what you discovered was that together with other relatively new product types and the recently included EZ-Pages, the sidebox heading for documents is located not in the english.php file, but in a file in languages/english/extra_definitions.

    This is a bit of a pain for people coming to this new and highlights the benefit of the developers' toolkit referred to by gjh42. However, this structure means that older sites upgrading don't get broken.
