Adding to Admin.

Hi there,

I am a new user of zencart and I have been all of the forums, but I just can't find the answer to my question.

I recently brought a partner on to my website, and I would like to give her access to the admin. I set her permissions exactly like the one set for myself. I have her a login and password. When she trys to login, it will not let her. Any suggestions?

This is where I *thought* I made the changes.

Tools/Admin Setting
Admin Level 1 / Demo Off

Hi Kim,

Is your friend able to log in at all? If not then, i would guess there is something wrong with either her username or password. Once your user is set up, the admin settings shouldn't affect whether or not she can log in.

Thanks for replying,

She isn't able to login at all. I wondered if the login and pw that she entered was wrong, or if it was case/space sensative. I tried it myself (tried to login as her) and I couldn't get in as her. The only thing I can think of is that I did something wrong when I was setting her up. :wacko:

You may have inadvertently entered something other than what you thought for her password when you were setting up the account.
Go back to Admin > Tools > Admin Settings, click on her name, then click the Reset Password button. That will let you enter a new password.
