    Default Must be something simple?

    Hi,

I am trying to put some text into my page_2, page_3 etc by doing the proper way through the overrride system.

I have done overrides for my template and tagline and main page text so I sort of know what they are

I have named my folder custom and put it here:

    includes/languages/english/custom/page_2.php

I have then edited the file to supposedly change the heading Title and Nav Bar and then some text. For some weird reason the change to the Heading works but the Nav bar and the text do not come up??? If one works why don't the others? I know I can do it through ZC Admin Define Pages editor but I'd rather do the override thing as it seems the right way to do changes.

    Link is www.kidzincloth.com/cart the under Page 2, 3 & 4

I also want to change the naes of these on the main page but can't seem to do that either so if anyone knows it would be great.

    Many Thanks for any help.

Page_2, 3, 4, checkout_success, conditions, contact_us, discount_coupon, privacy, shippinginfo, site_map and main_page, all use the 'Define Pages system' through the admin for their main text.

Make a copy of each of the define_XXX.php files from includes/languages/english/html_includes. Put the copies in includes/languages/html_includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE. Then you can edit the text in your Admin> Tools> Define Pages Editor.

    Kim,

I had those files both under Classic and beside it. The editor edits Classic files.
I read the instructions incorrectly, and copied the files from Classic to my own template directory at the same level.
After that, I edited the files.
Only the Classic files were edited, so I had to manually copy the new files to my template dir.
Are they now protected from overwriting?
    What' showing up?
