Also purchased products

I was a good student, first I have read all the posts!

How, when, if ....does the "also purchased" box starts to show up?
I have 3000 items, customers purchased so far more than 200...I have purchased tons of them as well....but the box does not showing up!

Is it category, products related?
All settings in the Admin section are configured

Sorry, I missunderstud "Cross selling" with "also purchased". It says Customers who bought THIS...
And I was looking to see the purchased within all my products.

Okay, I have searched and this is the only post that comes close to my question that I can find in recent times.

I am sure there is a way to link related products (in the manner of: "Customers who bought this also liked....")

I have my Also Purchased Products Columns per Row set at '3' in Product Info, but where do i go to link the actual products to one another?

I *think* this is what the OP was about, but he seemed to find his answer before one was posted for him

Look for the add-on Cross Sell or XSell ...
