Hi,
I'm tyring to figure out how to modify (add or remove items) from orders already placed. The "edit" button leaves no option other than sending the customer a message.

Have a look at the contrib Super Orders (with Super Edit)
(Not sure it has tested OK in 1.3.0.1 though). Let's hope the work in progress makeover of Admin will include this!
