Google ranking

Hi guys,
I’ve been working on my Google ranking and adding from my site to others and they (hopefully) add links to mine, since the Google ranking is influenced now by links to our sites I wondered if the many ZC users could help each other create something like a link pool.
What do you think?

you must remember that having unrelated links can make your rating worse. It is not about quantity it is about quality. a handful of good related links is far better than a gazillian unrelated linkfarms.

One way to get a bad ranking is to add meta tags everywhere. Zen cart automatically adds a description and keywords to each page (I think) so I'd ONLY use a few keywords and a short description on the index page, nothing else.

Do not use more than 15 keywords and don't have a description more than 150-200 characters long.

One of my most popular pages doesn't have any links inbound or outbound, nor does it have any meta data or even a single link contained on it. Yet this page is relatively popular on google.

I put several new links up lastnight and this morning,
and google is already indexing them

Links from related sites have more weight than unrelated sites. Example you would have more "points" to have a link from a Snooker forum than one from a doctor's site.

BTW- How do you figure: Powered by Cue power ? If you are not going to give Zen Cart credit, at least don't take it yourself. Thanks.
