No Emails are Sending from cart

I'm setting up my new cart, but emails sent from my Zencart are not arriving at their destinations. I checked with tech support at my hosting company and they said,

"..according to the mail logs, no messages were ever created from ZenCart at all. All settings are setup correctly, but the program just appears not to send any mail, no bouncebacks, no rejections, etc.


Where should I go from here with this issue?

What are the settings you are using in Admin> Configuration> Email Settings? Are you on a unix or windows server?

Do you not see any problems with my email settings? What do you recommend I do next?

On windows, normal settings would be smtp and the next line would be CRLF.

Was having the same trouble...emails sent to store owner but not test
customer.

Found notes on configuring in CPanel, while trying to configure email there. My host requires "SMTP Email Account Mailbox" to be user + domainname.com, instead of user @ domainname.com. Also SMPTAUTH was required, but that didn't work for me. Sendmail -f did.
