Hi I have a customer who is trying to use a gift certificate to cover the cost of her product, shipping and taxes, but it seems the Gift Certificate can not be used against taxes and shipping, is there a way of changing this?>

Check your configuration settings on the Modules ... Order Totals ... Gift Certificate ...
