this is a not a big deal but the time in the admin is wrong. It doesn't match my local time but I assume its because it pulls the time from the server. What I don't seem to to understand is why its 1/2 hour off instead of 1 hour off. any thoughts.

perhaps ask your hosting site to reset their server ... then go from there ...
