    ladysaat,

I did a new install. I had not had it in my store before. Again, I tried uploading the sql file but that did not work. So I copied and pasted it into the field provided in the sql update page. That did the trick for me. I have 5 stores and its working fine in all of them.

Herm. Okay I will do what you did. This will be the fifth time of me putting it on there. It's a PAIN to back it up and remove everything and revert to solid running backup If I wasn't such a dunce at times I wouldn't have to go through this LOL! Obviously we're talking operator error here

I did get a pm from someone offering to install it but I haven't been able to catch them online yet

    Jason-

I see you have recently posted multiple times in various different mod support threads reporting you are having issues accessing various mod related admin pages.

Likely due to a db configuration issue on your Zen Cart installation.

Before installing any more mods best to resolve your db issue.

As Dr Byte suggested elsewhere it is likely a db prefix issue. Look at the list of tables in your db (e.g. with phpmyadmin). If you have many tables with zen_ prefixes but other tables without the prefix then that is likely your issue.

Thus probable solution is to fix the prefix ;-)

if you are entitled to access .htaccess file, add the following code might help register globals enabled:
    php_flag register_globals on

if it still doesn't work, probably this feature is enable-prohibited by your web host provider. contact them and ask if they could help you in this case.

    good luck
Thanks for the reply where does the .htaccess file reside in the root directory of the store?

Default Quick Updates - SQL Import Failure

Hi folks I am getting closer to resolving the issue I have with the installation of this module - on my local test server anyway.

First of I have set globals to on in my local php.ini file

The upload of the module files is also ok, BUT when i run the sql script via the upload file section of the sql import it fails. After a clean install of the server i copy and paste the sql script into the query entry box and that works!

Can anyone explain why the attached file does not work with the file upload import feature of v1.3.0.1?

I think that's the same file I have. I tried the copy and paste also, to no avail. Portali got ahold of me and is going to help me install it. I don't know what I'm looking at when I open the file in a text editor. So I have no idea what it should look like (in ref. to the "blank spaces" part of the error). I think I'm going to download what you've attached and copy and paste it like you did. Maybe you have different stuff in yours? All my other mods (easy pop, image handler2 etc.) are working well and I mssgd my host to make sure the reg. globals were on.

    What error do you observe?

Turning globals on (NOT recommended, but sadly the only way here), works for me.
What would the tasks be to add a column to quick updates, to change the sort order of products? Or is there another/quicker/better way?

Click the little up/down arrows above the column headings.

Heh ;) I see what you are thinking!

No, I mean, to change the "sort order" of the products. ie:
Let us say that the products will be alphabetical, as in a,b,c,d,e
But I want to have some products together, so I change the sort order of that product so it lists in the store as a,b,e,c,d
At the moment, you would have to go into each product to change this!
It would be nice to have an extra column where you could enter the value.
