Coupon Success Message Appears When It Shouldn't

I had this posted in the "Creating Coupons" section but since it's not a question on how to create a coupon I probably should have posted it here (plus no one responded with a fix ).

The alledged bug: When a legitimate coupon is applied at checkout the "Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon" box pops up even if the minimum $ requirement for the coupon has not been met. It works fine for restrictions, just not for the minimum purchase amount.

Example: I have set up a coupon for $5 off orders over $100. When the code is entered and the order is below $100 the box saying: "Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon" pops up even though the coupon, rightly, was not applied to the price.

I believe Ajeh had submitted this for part of the 1.3.0.2 bugfix release.
