User Category Limitations

First I just want to say that this software is awesome. The best I have found!!!

I was wondering how much coding would need to be done to be able to limit what categories a user can see.

For my particular situation I would want the customer to put in a 3 or 4 character code when creating their account. Then depending on the code they would only be able to see the catagory of products associated with that code.

This is not a built in function of ZenCart. If this is a 'real' need and you can not live with out it, I am fairly sure that it can be coded to do this. As you are correct this is the best Cart around.

You might find a work around if tou search for one DB two stores or similar as there is a thread about this progressing.
