Can't Login as Customer on New Site

I just did the "quick setup" for ZenCart on DreamHost and then finished the installation. It says it's the current version, and it's running on a linux server.

I can login fine as an Admin. But I created a customer account and can't seem to login. After attempting to login, i'm sent back to the main page and asked if I want to "login"....

I changed the permissions on ../cache/ to 777, the full path of which is correctly listed under "Admin | Sessions".

When I go to the "Version" page it lists "no value" for "session.referer_check". I followed the "iniSet()" instructions: Here for the fun of it but that didn't help either.

    Any other suggestions?

Try temporarily turning off "Recreate Session" in Admin->Configuration->Sessions

NOTE: This normally should be left ON to prevent security breaches. But in some PHP5 installs, there appears to be a quirk...

If you do turn this off, you leave yourself open to other problems....
