Group Discounts?

Sorry one more question for the time being..

How do you give a group discount to certian members? Like whatever they want is free.

1. turn on group pricing feature: Admin->Modules->Order Total->Group Pricing

2. create a 100% discount group: Admin->Customers->Group Pricing

3. edit the customer you want to give ALL purchase for FREE to: Admin->Customers->Customers
And in the Group Discount pulldown menu at the bottom of the screen, select the discount group.

I had the same problem and I still have. I did according to your suggestion but after I give the customer e.g. Discount Pricing Group 10 and press 'update', it's updated. Then, I list the customers again and it says 'Discount Pricing Group --none--', it doesn't seems to be saved.

I am using Windows, ZC 1.3.0.2 and swedish_1.3.0.1 language package. Please help

I am unable to reproduce this problem on v1.3.0.2 ...

Are you sure that you upgraded all files in the /admin

Go to the Modules ... Order Totals ...

Remove Discount Groups ... then install again ...

I re-installed my zen-cart, with sql and everything, installed the swedish_1.3.0.1 language package and tried again to give a customer 10% discount. Same thing happend.. But if I, in the admin, change the 'Define Language' from Swedish to English, it works ..

And then, if I change back to Swedish in admin, try to change the 10% discount back to 'None', and save, the customer still have 10%. So it seems that it has something to do with the swedish language pack.

Do you (or anyone else) have any clue where to change so it will work with the swedish language pack also ?

I have ZC 1.3.0.2 like I said above (if it's ZC you mean)... If you ment the swedish language pack 1.3.0.2, I have been searching for it but I can't find it. If it's that one you mean, please tell me where I can find it...

Even with ZC 1.3.0.2, I have this problem, maybe it's because of the swedish language pack... ?

Don't know what is your problem. But there is some different between the language pack for v1.3.0.2 and v1.3.0.1.

And check that the currency code in the currency setting in your english.php and the setting in the admin are matched.
e.g. for english
define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD');

and then set the currency code to USD in the setting of the admin.

I've read the forums and I guess I have a partial answer.

The Group Discount works great, but I need to limit it to certain categories.

i.e, I give customers a 30% discount on certain products, but they are priced at less than $5, so the discount is no big deal to me. But in another category, I have a product that is $200, and 30% is way too much...in fact, I don't even want to discount that product (or category) at all.

Is there anyway we can make it work similar to SaleMaker, which will apply special pricing to certain categories/products.
