    Default re-sizing front page thumbnails?

I've gone through all of the numbers in the Admin/config/images and can not make those dang thumbail pictures bigger. I must be missing something here. They look horrible and are too squished and it's basically the last step in getting my shop up. I feel so stupid in asking this when I can figure out the more complicated stuff! I would appreciate the help.

    Here is the site -

    THank you!

Also, can you upload multiple pictures per product?

Did you load images before modifying the dsiplay sizes? They may have been saved by the software as small thumbnails, and the image size settings are maximums - zc will not enlarge small images because that gives lousy pixelated results. Try loading a new image and see if it follows the size settings you have now.

You can have additional images for a product by loading them with the identical name as the first one with _01, _02, etc. added to the end of the name. Search for _01.jpg and you will probably find some relevant threads.

I don't understand what you mean. I just went into the product info page and uploaded the picture there. Can you explain what you mean please?

You didn't load anything into the product info page because that is a store display page. Perhaps you mean you loaded the image in the product entry page in Admin > Catalog > Categories & Products (create new product or edit product).

I suggest you read up on images and then ask if there is still something you need to know (see this thread in the archives: Designing & Customizing > Sticky: HOW-TO: Image Preparation.)

Right. I loaded it in that way. I actually just messed around with it a bit and found some info about additional pictures and such. But, those front page thumbnails stilkl look crappy. Somewhere, and I can't find it, I think those pictures are being told to size down by 33%. I can't find where that is. I've looked for quite some time.

Any ideas? When I resize the images in the config section it doesn't do anything!

I could not find the thread mentioned above but this one may help - http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/faq.ph...l&titlesonly=0.

The Image Handler 2 contrib is very popular and seems to work very well. I use it.

IH2 handles all the resizing for you. Set the sizes in admin, load one image = or larger than you 'large' image and you are done. Otherwise, use Ajeh's bulletproof method. Make sure the actual image sizes match the config settings exactly.

If you are letting ZenCart do the resizing you will not get good results.
