Mp3 shop for band

Hi Guys,

First of all Id like to say that this is the first time ive had to create an online shop.

Basically i want to set up a shop to sell my bands mp3's and allow customers to download them once payment has been secured. Here are my questions.

1. Is zen cart the best software for doing this?

2. What is the best payment system to go with? considering we dont have a lot of start up capital. Ideally I would like customers to be able to pay directly with a credit card.

You can certainly do that with a stock cart, although personally I like to customize the way mp3 previews are displayed (I don't think the stock method is very effective).

As for payment methods, Paypal is by far the easiest and cheapest way to start out - you don't need the hassle and expense of a merchant account that way.
