Thanks DrByte - this sounds promising. I tried it on my test installation, but am not making a successful connection to the UPS system (so It would sound from the error message):

Rating and Service 1.0001 0 An unknown error occured while attempting to contact the UPS gateway : Rating and Service 1.0001 0 An unknown error occured while attempting to contact the UPS gateway.

I put in the log file to catch error codes, but it did not write to it. I guess I have to work to get it going.

I also entered in a request in the special development section to see if anyone was interested in creating a mod to provide a discount off list rates. The more I think about it, that may have better appeal (people actually SEE they are saving).
