    Default Step 2 no go

    Friends,

I have hacked together two custom shipping options. The shipping is calculated correctly but during "checkout" I can't go to step 2.

The shipping is calculated as follows

    - custom free shipping options module

within merseyside free shipping over 7.5
within merseyside orders <7.5, shipping = 7.5 - order total

    - custom flat rate shipping

    3.5 shipping outside merseyside.

I can't find where in the code the shipping values are being validated on the button click and why indeed it's sending me back to step 1.

    have a look

    Please help.

This probably has to do with the name of your shipping modules.
The shipping module name cannot contain any spaces or dashes or it will turn the name invalid... something related to regular expressions...

name it something like "customfreeshipping" or the like and most likely this will solve teh problem.

I changed the names to remove underscore characters of the filenames, codenames and classnames on my local server and it worked.

    Nice one mate, much appreciated
