Customers shouldn't be concerned about their visible IP from the footer page, since it is only designated to be shown to each proper users (signed on from each sessions - seperately).

However, it is true that a link note (like: [ Note ] - same way as the Zen Cart's installation popup notes are being actually presented) should be added aside the IP so that customers doesn't have to question themselves regarding IP distributions during their activities. It would assure their safety from each Zen Cart stores.

Hi, thanks for this post. I'm also using the purpleshades template and ran into this little issue.

I'd also like to point out that the exact same issue exists in this template for the banner #5 display in the footer. Easily fixed using the same method as pointed out for the IP.
