Its my 1st post , I have installed zen cart with demo data , now i could nt found how can i remove demo data so that i could start my shop and add my own products, i want to start zen cart from scratch , thanks

Just delete all the demo top level categories. You may also want to go into the images directory and clean up in there.

Deleting the products/categories is "one" way. ... but that leaves all the demo attributes, customers, test orders, etc.
If you want to start from scratch, run zc_install/index.php from your browser again, and click Install, and redo all the settings... but don't choose the demo data. You'll end up with a nice squeaky-clean store..

If you only delete the categories/products, then all the rest of your customizations will remain.
