Admin login page not working

Well, I'm getting there -- I had a major webserver meltdown. The hard drive crashed . The good news is that my son (and business buddy) had recently backed up all of the sites and most of the databases.

We were able to restore the store database and the products appear fine. I've even had sales through the store since the restoration but (and this is a big but) I cannot get into the administrative pages.

When I ftp or use file manager - I can see the files names and there is a file size but I can't get to them -- or see the pages.

Does anyone have any ideas at all?

Looks like you still have some language-file customizing to complete ... or maybe just need to switch your template name via the admin.

Your admin login page appears to be blank. This can be caused by corruption or incomplete upload of files, etc.

Best starting point:
1. rename your /admin folder to adminbak
2. upload a new copy of the /admin folder from a fresh copy of the Zen Cart zip
3. copy the adminbak/includes/configure.php to the new /admin/includes folder
4. this should let you log in, if the problem was related to corrupted files.

5. then you can manually apply the needed updates to language files etc to your admin folder, using adminbak as a base. (I suggest you download /adminbak to your PC and run WinMerge to compare against the fresh /admin in order to identify the needed edits)
