Invoice Payment product

Hi All,

Each month I issue invoices for software subscriptions.

I would love an easy to use system of the user just entering an invoice number and the program then displays the amount(s) to pay and then the users selects the amount and then goes to the payment options.

I would envisage uploading the Invoice Number and Amount(s) each month after they have been printed, and when paid redirected to a specified page to retrieve their unlock codes.

Has this been done before ? as this is a common feature on many web sites...

PS. I am doing this in a roundabout method by adding a product for each licence type and then adding an extra option for the invoice number to be input. It works but is a longer way from a users point of view, and it is also displayed in the All Product listings etc which I do not really want to happen.

to have hidden products that only certain customers can see, you might try adjusting the code to use a new products_status of 2 (defaults are 1=on, and 0=off). However, the code is presently not written for ==1 and ==0 in all cases... you'd have to review all instances to be sure that a 2 wouldn't cause the item to be displayed to everyone, and that a 2 wouldn't prevent it from being accessible if needed. Of course, once paid, set it to 0.
