    Are we allowed to remove the copyright from the page?

    from the very bottom of the page?

    The rules on the copyright are in the FAQ and a search should gather all of the posts about how to remove the XHTML link.

    I read the copyright info, but I am still unsure if I keep the same template but I change the header image and few colors am I required to keep the copyright?

    Making your own custom template folder, using your own graphics, changing colors, should be sufficient to warrant copyrighting your own layout.
    However, the less it looks like the original Zen Cart sample, the better
    .

    If you have customized the shopping cart, there is no reason why you can't say "Copyright 2006 mysite.com.

    However, I leave the "powered by Zen Cart" link as a gesture of gratitude, and also a status symbol. Remember that the tech support in this forum is excellent, the shopping cart is great. AND it is free.

    Besides, soon you will become zenned. Resistance is futile.

    I think i am going to remove it and I will show my gratitude by making donations instead of advertising
