Yes. I checked the permissions on the image and I am able to view it with the browser. It seems like more of a problem with teh admin console than anything else. The folder permissions are wide open and the image still won't upload when I add a new product. So because of that I think the link to ../images/no_picture.gif is being attached to the prduct. So even when I do upload the image to the images directory the product still has the no_picture.gif image associated with it.
This is where I'm stumped.
What version Zen Cart?
What version php?
Have you any add-ons?
Have you ever been able to upload images via the Admin?

Zen Cart 1.3.0.2
PHP Version 4.4.2
No add-ons.
I started with a previous version of ZenCart that was auto-installed through my host. I was able to upload some images then. But I decided to upgrade and just start from scratch since I wasn't far along and not happy with what I had anyway. So I backed up my site and deleted it from the server and started over with a fresh install. I did import my MySql DB that had all my attribute options I had already entered. It hasn't worked since the reinstall.
OK. I know sort of what's happening I just don't know why.
The permissions are set correctly on the folder and the image.
When I add a new product and try to upload the product image at that time the image never gets uploaded. The very next screen where it should show the image it shows the no_picture.gif image. So since the image isn't being uploaded the path with the image name isn't being added to the database listing for the product. So even if you upload the prduct via ftp it still isn't showing because the database has no record of it. So I manually added the path and it worked.
Obviously this is not an acceptable solution. So I need to figure out why it's not uploading in the first place and would continue to appreciate any ideas anybody has. I'm beating my head on the wall over here trying to get this working.
Thanks.
Brad
Are you clicking on the Browse buttom to add your images from your PC or are you manually adding the name?

Just doubled checked the premissions. The /images and subdirectories are 777
No error at the top of the page when I add the product.
I'm wondering if something with the database got hosed when I reinstalled zencart.
I'd like to figure it out but if I can't I'm not too far into it to start over and wipe out the database. But I'd obviously rather jsut fix it.
Have you tried in both IE and FireFox?
