    Vger - thanks for stopping by.
    The problem is in the shopping cart itself. I want to only have the update cart below the subtotal on the cart page. (the other option is to have it both next to the product and below the subtotal)

    As you noticed, the update cart is not functioning properly on the Shopping cart page. However, if I re-activate the update cart button next to each product in the shopping cart, the update cart button functions as it should.

    Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to change the image that is called out for the 2 loacations as I could do a workaround by creating a 1x1 image for use next to the product for updating the cart.

    Hopefully that makes sense...

    Any ideas?

    Looks like I may have to do a full backup and try to reload 1.3.0.1

    on how to do a backup.

    Can I just FTP the whole 1.3.0.1 complete files right on top of my current install?

    If you've read that other thread then you'll have seen that the response from Ajeh is to recheck all files affected when upgrading from 1.3 to 1.3.0.1, and any overrides you are using.

    Vger - Yep. And I did all of those - checked all overrides (none in conflict with upgraded files) and I also FTP;d the whole lot of the Upgraded files only to the site.

    It appears I have to do a complete reload of 1.3.0.1 now and I'm wondering if I need to strip it clean off my site or if I can just FTP the full fileset right on top of the existing install.

    *sigh* I didn't even think to look in the upgrade section of the support forums.
    Anyone else experiencing this issue, just do the manual fix of the file. (that's what I opted for before haring off and completely reinstalling )

    hi there!

    i'm having the same problems on my install though i've done A LOT of template modification so it's possible that i'm missing something here.

    i took a look at the linked to thread at the end of this discussion and instituted the fix there. from what i gather, it puts in a hidden field in the form that makes the update function work? currently, neither changing the amount in the quantity box nor checking the delete box work. everything just stays in the cart like it is.

    if you wouldn't mind giving this a looksee, i'd appreciate it. i'd rather not re-install as i've done a lot of changes to this thing!

    I do believe v1.3.0.2 that was just released should take care of this one and all the others ...

    Linda: Worked like a charm (well, at least it didnt take away the functionality that I had earlier "fixed" ;) ) Any hints on when 1.4 is coming out?
