    Default Major problem with my shop

    Hi i've been playing around with zen cart for about a week now and everything was coming along nicely but i've just gone and broke it trying to change the logo.Hopefully someone with alot of knowlege will be able to advise me whats gone wrong.I've just been trying to add my own logo and this is how it's gone now http://toffeesshop.net has you can see the page is about a mile long now .I did back it up last night,so will i be best to install the back up file to get it back to normal and if so how is this done or is it totally buggered.Any advice would be great has i'm just new to this sort of thing.Thanks in advance toffee

    Ouch. Although it doesn't directly address this specific problem, I'd recommend that you just stop using the "Classic" template. This is intended primarily for backward compatibility with earlier versions of Zen Cart. It would be better to build your own template from scratch based on the functionality in the template_default. A little more work up front, but much, much easier in the long-term.

    If that seems a bit overwhelming, an alternative is to use the Future Zen template which engages template_default for you and gives you somewhere to start from. You can download it from the downloads section of this site and there's a link to the relevant downloads page in my signature below.

    Thanks for the quick reply,futher more to having a play around i seem to have my shop back to normal,i don't no what i did tho but it seems back to normal.If it was cheap i'd just get someone else to sort it for me has i just don't have a clue

    That you've undone the problem suggests that you are making progress. But I'd still recommend ditching the "classic " template as you will continue to run into problems using it as it wasn't really designed for new users building new sites.

    Hi thanks once again to the replys,i've done like to said but i've now lost all the boxs down the sides ect with products ect.Have i installed the templet wrong or is this how it should look?

    Go into Admin > Tools > Layout Boxes Controller and click on the reset button right at the bottom and all the boxes will magically reappear.
