Checkout won't go through at step 1 of 3

I have read the same question, but not really what I having problem.

well I'm sorry if I missed some thread, but here is my questions.


I have setup the custom USPS shipping module for US and internation zones (I defined this 2 zones in zone definitions)

the one for US does work fine

but the one for international won't go through the step 1 0f 3 and so basically can't choose payment type.

my question is from above my shipping module or payment module didn't work correctly.

I use the paypal module that comes with zencart.

If it's something wrong with my shipping module why the one for US does work correctly? It's definitly copy the code and change some variable and the formula to calculate the shipping cost.

please help or explain what I should do.

Have you set the Zone (State) in which your site is physically located? Without that USPS won't be able to calculate rates for internation shipping.

If you are NOT restricting the zones that USPS can be used then turn the zones OFF.

I am not referring to the Zone setting in the module itself. I am referring to the Zone under My Store - because if that's not set then USPS has no point of origin to calculate the distances for shipping charges.

As I am based in the UK and do not myself use USPS I don't know if this makes a difference for shipping within the USA. However, I do know that you won't get any offered options on the Shipping page if you are buying from outside of the USA and the Store's Zone is not set.

Yes, I have set the zone and everything. USPS calculated and show the cost correctly, but just can't go the next step. (This is only problem)

Please try the test site, I put the module for both zones on that.

I made the modified custom module, not use the original USPS that comes with Zencart

The module for US do the same way and work fine. That why I don't understand what's wrong and it's my shipping module problem or payment module problem.

why are you using zones if you are using usps for all....



you probably missed renaming the class heading in the clone.

Because we don't use the exaclty cost from USPS.

We have to set up some formula for shipping and handling, packing in different products and insurance that different in both US and international.

No,, that case can't be because if the class is the same name it will be error when install.

i have sent the code.

please look on it and help. i have try to even made the new module, but still got the same problem. not sure why. it might be some small thing I just look over.

The code is kind of mess up.
