I'm planning of having a huge flash animation on the homepage.

My site is 750px wide and the SWF would go above the three columns (left-center-right), so I can include it in tpl_mainpage.php in the page editor, other wise this will sit in between the left and right columns.

Even if i added it to the main tpl page, the SWF would appear on every single page and I don;t want this, I only want it on the home page.

If you put it in the bottom of tpl_header.php, it will sit above the sidebars and center column.

The comments in tpl_main_page.php show how to execute the flash only on the home page, as described here just two days ago.
(The code can be transplanted to other files from tpl_main_page.php.)
