Does Manufacturer URL work ?

Can someone tell me if they can add a URL for a manufacturer?
When I try it does not save the value, it is always blanked out.

I've tried it on another site with a fresh install and still have the problem. Am I the only one with this issue?

How are you typing in the URL?

I have tried both www.xxx.com and http://www.xxx.com.

The http version is the one that works - but only if I manually edit the database table. Once the value is there (if I edit the table) I can change it via the admin console. However admin will not save it if it initially has no value set.

Zen cart 1.3.0.1. Sorry - should have included that. Does it work for other people?

The settings in the manufactuers_info table is for the sidebox ... and uses the http://www.something_domain.com

The settings in the products_description table is for the product _info pages ... and uses just www.something_domain.com

Yes, the manufacturer's URL in the sidebox.
The value just doesn't save if it initially has no value. I can force to work by editing the db directly and then I can edit it admin after that just fine.

net net - it will not create (insert) a record in the "manufacturers_info" table.

I add without an URL ... edit ... change ... update ... it is there

I add with an URL ... edit ... remove ... update ... it is removed

I cannot break this one ...
