Brand New To All of This...HELP!!!

Greetings to All!

I was told if I uploaded Zencart software to my Yahoo server, I would be able to allow my music files to be downloadable. So far, I've uploaded Zencart to my Yahoo server, but now confused on how to make Zencart run or how to use it. Can anyone out there help me with this matter?

I would be much appreciated.

If you are going to run a music site ... I strongly recommend you get a real hosting site ...

Peek into our Zen Cart Certified Hosting sites ...

You do not want to attempt to run a Download site or a busy site on a server with limitations and issues for php, MySQL or other e-commerce issues ...

You will be very sad to be on a hosting site that is not designed to truely grow with you ...

As to Downloads ... you want to learn about the Attributes ...

There are numerous FAQs and Threads and WIKI information on Attributes that you will want to take the time to look into ...

You will also help yourself a lot if you take the time to set up a Test directory and Test Database and load the demo Products ...

This is all designed to help you better understand all of the features in Zen Cart and how to configure different kinds of Products, Attributes, Categories etc. in addition to the many, many features built into Zen Cart ...

Don't walk, but RUN away from Yahoo hosting.

There are a lot of really good hosting companies out there. Yahoo will be the worst choice for what you are doing.

I would second Bobdog - I heard plenty of bad stories about Yahoo hosting. try 1 and 1 or iPower if you need the low prices.

You might search the forum before jumping into just any hosting site ...

You really want one that is setup specifically for php, MySQL and e-commerce sites ...

You can do a search on the WIKI for: download or downloads

And there are break downs on how add Products and how to build Attributes for downloads with the Option Names and Option Values ...
