    Default Payment checkout screen not showing up

    Hello, I am trying to test the payment system of zencart.

    I created an account, and then try to advance through to buy a product. when i get to step two (payment), i am getting a blank page during the checkout process.

    I removed all payment modules except the zencart freecard module but i still just get a blank area with the rest of the template shell when i get to the payment step. I've also tried to revert to the standard template and i get the same results (a blank area in the template on the payment step as a customer)

    Any ideas as to what would be causing this? I've also removed all of the shipping modules except for flat rate.

    Install the Free Payment Module and the Check/Money Order ...

    Try reloading the files:

    /includes/modules/pages/checkout_payment (all files)

    /includes/templates/templates_default/tpl_checkout_payment_default.php

    /includes/languages/english/checkout_payment.php

    Did this solve the problem for this user? I'm still having the same problem on my site. The forum that my original post appeared on is not accepting new posts once the new forum launched so I'm a bit behind in reporting what I'm still experiencing.

    I have re-installed the checkout payment files to no avail. I have even gone so far as to install the entire cart on a completely new site (a mirror of this version) and then copied the files that are involved in the checkout_payment and checkout_shipping processes to the www.imperialproductsonline.com site. I still get the same problem on the IPO site. Although I don't get the problem on the test site which is on another server with another hosting company altogether.

    I had our current hosting company look at the encryption certificate (because I was not running a certificate on the test site) as well as the server operations but nothing seems to be amiss in those areas.

    Other things I have found in my testing: I can consistently recreate the problem using browser IE 6.0.2x but when I use browser Firefox 1.5.0.2, I cannot recreate the problem at all.

    The client is really getting anxious about getting this problem resolved and I'm out of ammunition to kill this bug. Perhaps there is a ZenCart specialist we can hire?

    If you turn off the secure in the configure.php does this correct the issues in IE?

    I presume you mean set this line to false?

    And did you say that you have 1 directory for your files or do you use 2 directories for secure and non-secure?

    1 Directory for secure & non-secure.

    When I change that setting to false, when I get to the checkout page, it flickers continually with the message "Web site found...waiting for reply", and then will continue try to load the page but it's "stuck".

    We call this a clue ...

    A clue to what I am not sure yet ...

    But I have to run out for a few hours ...

    Try to find "what" is causing this ... sounds like you are stuck in a loop that sometimes completes and sometimes does not ... so the page times out ...
