Remove space below header

I had to get googly-eyed to see the white space you were talking about.

Might go away if you added no border to the image but I wouldn't worry about it myself. You really have to know it's there to worry about it.

Things I would consider are:

1. Lose the banners till you get some that compliment the beautiful design of the site.
2. Turn off the breadcrumb on the main page. It will make it flow and look much better.
3. Try something like "What's New?" versus the longer "New Products [more]" and "Have you seen?" will fit better as well.
4. Lose the IP address at the bottom. Only scares folks away.
5. Experiment with a different color (perhaps a blue from the butterfly or green from the petals) to use for the box headings. They're a little difficult to read as they are. (note: for a while now, the template has used a different font for some headings. Thus the difference between the Search and Members headings.)
6. Try adjusting the navCatTabsWrapper and navCatTabs to get rid of some of the blank space surrounding "Fine Fragrances".

Otherwise, I think you've got a great design going. As long as you don't click on French

Thanks, took your comments and made do, but that sneaky space still shows in IE.

As the Cats fill up that will also take space, quite a few cats to set up as well.

As for the French, lol...lot of little things to fix there.

It can be VERY interesting.

In a side by side comparison with firefox and IE, the only visible difference is the text spacing of the main body and the space at the top of the categories box.

Question... Are both sites 1.3.7? I ask because both have the empty <li> in the breadcrumb and I thought that had been corrected.

By "Are both sites 1.3.7?" do you mean the test site and the site in my sig? If so, the answer is yes. I recently upgraded the one in my sig from 1.2.7 to 1.3.7 and thought I'd play with 1.3.7 a bit more.

I'll have to look into the empty <li>. It's possible I goofed.

Thanks for the comments, after almost 2 weks going up/down sideways and finally a mid-air stall, the little bugger is no where to be found...

So, anyone got any clues. Nothing to do with any addons either as this was there from the first. I'm using the 1.3.7 classic template as the base as well.

Some one out has got to know this, I've seen quite a few sites producing the same issue. And if so, I bet they have also used the custom template to work from. So, anyone find a fix?

I had the same problem and solved it by changing the logoWrapper height to 3 px smaller than my logo's height.

height:115px;
}

It does remove it on IE7 but not on Firefox 2.0
