Idea or Suggestion Problem with define pages editor

    Hello,

When I try to make an edit to the main page in the define pages editor, I'm getting this message:

    Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /admin/define_pages_editor.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/1.3.36 Server at www.blahblahblah.com Port 80
    Server OS: Linux 2.6.14.2-ts.grh.mh.ht
    Database: MySQL 4.1.19-standard
    PHP Version: 4.4.2 (Zend: 1.3.0)
    HTTP Server: Apache/1.3.36 (Unix)

I am using ZC certified hosting. Is this problem occurring on my end or on theirs? Thanks.

Please, does anyone know about this problem? I have tried changing the permissions of the Admin folder as was suggested in another thread, but to no avail. I am still receiving this access error message, meaning I cannot change the look of my index page....very frustrating.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

I had a similar problem and had also changed the access permissions to the folders, or at least my systme showed me i had changed the access permissions. I found tha ti had to have my ISP change the rights and then all worked just as it should.

I do not understand why if i change the permissions it did not work but if the ISP changed the permissions it did work.

Might want to have them check that

Thank you Schatzy, I will give that a try. I'm using a ZC certified host - opensourcehost - and they seem to be pretty good with helping out with these kinds of things.

I am trying to add photos to the pages on my web site through define pages editor.
I have my page up in html area, click on the icon 'insert/modify image'. the box to 'insert image' comes up and I add the url address as requested. so I add a http address which links me into my yahoo briefcase, I then proceed to click on the photo in jpg from my briefcase folder. the picture appears in the 'image preview' box, I then click on ok. the box for the picture appears but with no image in it. Can anyone please give me some guidance here? Thanks.
