Hello, this has probly already been discussed but im a newb to zencart and i have a live store up and its not running the latest version, how can i upgrade this to the lastest one and keep all my products and things?

In the /docs folder is a document talking about how to upgrade.
Best to:
- copy your existing site/files to your PC
- merge all your customizations from it into the new version, which may involve rebuilding some of your templating components for the new version
- copy your existing site's database to a new one
- upload the new files to a new folder on your server
- edit your new folder's configure.php settings to point to the new database
- run the database upgrade
- TEST TEST TEST
- when happy, copy upgraded files to main/live site folder and upgrade the live database.
