found in the downloads section is very very buggy, many files are in error due to improper coding creating many problems and site load and page failures.

This pack also does not validate XHTML due to the same issue of improper character coding.



Unless you wish to debug the files(and there are many) it is not a suggested download at this time.

Thanks for reporting this. If the language pack itself creates problem as it is does not respond to XHTML language, I guess I will have to stop my work on translating this pack for French-Canadian version.

Ok, that works much much better...

What I have found is that some funny characters are found, I've replaced with ascii code like alt 130 and that works, not sure why that is, but using pure alt codes vs special representation like & for example at times does not always work either.

But the vers I got from the last link you gave now validates ok, have yet to test all functions at this point.

Perhaps it is time to use some str_replace within the language packs. This should resolved the issue between the alt codes and special characters.

Does anyone know if there is a upgraded french pak covering the last upgrade. The current lang pak has many issues with the latest version of ZC, quite a number of missing translations that I have come across

It was said that this one was working perfectly under Zen Cart v1.3x. Isn't the case ?

with 1.3.0.1 its fine, but if you install the update 1.3.0.2 then things get somewhat whacky.

The changes in 1.3.0.2 are not reflected in the French pak from the link provided before. I have found quite a few instances of missing translations. I do a file-sidebyside compare and add where needed so far...

Thanks for reporting this. The best thing to do would be to compare the old readings with the new readings by using a compare tool software (such as: Beyond compare 2).
