Linkpoint API/No choice of credit cards

I've installed the Linkpoint module but when I do a trial checkout the page looks a bit sparse. There is a place to enter a credit card but I can't specify the type - Visa, MC, etc. I've set up that we are excepting them. Also have entered the merchant id. I'm sure there must be something else I have to do, but what?

Yikes. I just found the answer to my own question. That must confuse users as much as it confused me.

Anyway, there's still a problem. After entering cc info and confirming, I go back to the payment information page. Never get to the thank you and the cards aren't being processed.

We can validate that the Linkpoint contribution works perfectly with Zen Cart 1.3.0.xx - you need to make sure you have your Linkpoint .pem file located as per the instructions of the readme documentation and of course, that you have run the SQL patch.

Yes I have done that. When I put my card number in and confirm, I still end up back and the payment info page. There is an error in the url that says my card was declined, but the error does not print out on the page which I imagine it is supposed to do.

I don't have a store id from Linkpoint, just a merchant id (12 digits). For the .pem file, I used my user id provided by Express Merchant Processing which is 6 digits. I don't know what all these numbers are for though, so I'm sure the problem must lie here.

The readme will help you obtain the required information, including your PEM file.

If you turn on the database-storage setting in the module's settings, you'll be able to track the actual failure reasons more effectively, both on-screen and via the new Admin->Customers->Credit Card Review tool.
