    Gift Certificate Trouble

I can get the Gift Certificates to work fine but there is one strange thing happening...in the e-mail it sends...it states "The Gift Certificate is worth" and after that...nothing LOL. Now when the person redeems it it does redeem at the correct amount etc...just for some reason it doesn't actually SAY what it s worth LOL. Now up to this point I have just made sure to put it into my text portion for the certificate...but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and been able to fix it :)

    HUGS!!

    ann :)

Redeem and spend them on a test?

There isn't a true delete on Gift Certificates as this is Cash ...

Or, you could delete them from the tables ...

The best way is to drop the coupon_whoever tables and reload them from the mysql_zencart.sql file ...

I still haven't been able to solve this problem...

To clarify.. Gift Certificates sent from the "front end" by a customer works fine. The email show the value no problems. As below:

Congratulations, You have received a Gift Certificate worth 5.00AUD

The problem is when the admin sends a Gift Certificate from the admin console option "Gift Certificate>Mail Gift Certificate" .. The email received doesn't show the value, it's just blank as seen below:

We're pleased to offer you a Gift Certificate
    The Gift Certificate is worth
To redeem this Gift Certificate, please click on the link below.
