Debit Card Pin question

I read through the posts on debit cards and didn't think my question related to the information already covered.

We would like to accept debit cards, which I read can be done using the same fields as you would enter credit card information. Our customer is also asking that we allow shoppers to enter their PIN number when using a debit card. Is this something people would recommend doing?

I believe his reasoning is:
The cost of clearing a Pin-Based Debit transaction is about ½% less than the cost of clearing a typical Signature Based Debit transaction.

Any help is much appreciated.

Im not aware of one,
this is because they all carry the Visa or MC Logo. and are designed to be used as CC
