    HELP! Urgent please!

    I have recently paid to have my site upgraded to 3.1 - everything was working fine before then -

    I am getting the notices from paypal that i have recieved funds from a customer - but the customers are not able to access their downloads. These are all virtual products.They are directed back to the site from Paypal but when they get back there is no download.

    Their orders are not showing up in Admin either!

    HELP! Please!

    Did this problem begin *after* the upgrade?

    Try removing the PayPal Payment Module then reinstall and configure it ...

    What version did you upgrade from?

    Sorry but I am not sure what the previous version was ~ as i paid someone to upgrade this for me, you can tell I have no idea what I am doing! How would I remove the paypal module and reinstall it? It dosent appear Paypal is the problem - they are sending me the notices of funds recieved - the downloads just arent there when the customers get back to the site from paypal...

    1 Are the Orders showing up in the Admin?

    2 If so, what are the Order Status settings?

    3 In the Attribute Settings, the default settings are >= 2 and <= 4 for downloads

    4 Have these worked in the past?

    5 Were they working when you tested your site after your upgrade?

    Go to Admin => Modules => Payment
    Select the the PayPal IPN module
    Click the "-Remove" button and then click "Install"

    You'll probably have to re-enter your settings, so it would be a good idea to copy down all of your current settings as they are now, then it'll be easy to re-enter everything once you've re-installed the module.

    Did they work when you tested your upgrade before going Live?

    Did you try to do the Modules ... Payment Modules ...

    click on PayPal ... click on edit ...
    write down settings ... click on cancel ...
    Click on PayPal ... click on Remove ...
    Click on PayPal ... Click on Install ...
    Configure Settings

    Now does it work?

    Hey, go to your PayPal payment module and make sure your PRIMARY PayPal email address is there and not a secondary.

    If still broke, try this.
    Go to one of these transactions in PayPal, and send the customer a 1 cent refund. See if that makes PayPal return the IPN. I intermittently have problems with PayPal not returning the IPN's, but usually no one is receiving them when it happens, and I have been getting IPN's all day. Anyway, I've found that the 1 cent refund will somehow force it back immediately. Worth a try for 1 cent.
