Need Help Please

I just signed up with Zencart yesterday through Network Solutions and need a guide to walk me through the beginning to end of setting up my website. I am new at this and do not know html. I was told that this is one of the best cart systems available for online stores but I have no idea how to get going. The questions and answers are difficult to follow when you are just starting out and don't have a clue. I was told that a manual is in the process of being completed for download on the site, is that true? Any advice or direction would be much appreicated. Thank you.

The information about a manual was premature.

I am afraid that you will have to be more specific about what it is that you are seeking to accomplish. Things like how do I change ?????? and post this in an appropriate area for assistance. And prior to that look in the wiki here and use the search function to find other posts that cover what you want as most of the initial changes have been asked more than once.

You were informed correctly that this is one of if not the best cart systems available so bear with it as I am positive that you will be pleased in the end.

One thing I would tell you that if you want to have a good zen cart, w/o learing html is to purchase a zen cart template. if you want to di it your self the thing to buy woould be a book ok html. Rr go to a site like w3schools.com and go through the XHTML and the CSS tutural. this way you will get the get the basics of how things all work in the display end.
once you have done that start useing the wiki, there is a zen cart book but is out dated. of you have questions ask here, dont be offened if some one tells you to search harder, it happes to the best of us.
as a last resort you can post on the commercial forum and get some one to teach you how to do things. there are good people out there.

Any ways how ever told you that this is a good way to do an online store was right, you cant get a better one unless you build upon the existing code that is here.

I'm not sure if the cart was/is already set up for you. If not however, when you unzip it to your computer, open the docs folder. Open the install/readme file, I'm not being facetious, I'm being serious. If you follow that step by step and read it, you will have a breeze. I did for my second cart and didn't with my first.

Let me tell you, there are about 20 stupid threads NOT started by me THIS time around because I read the documents in that folder, and ... even printed out some of the readme/installs for the modules I added on. Just to make sure I did what I was supposed to.
