Changing the Way Products are Displayed

Hello all.

Is there a way to change the page layout of the way products are displayed? For example, when you choose the "Apparel" category, all of its products within that category are displayed in individual tables, with its price and a description.

However, I want it so that when you choose the category "Apparel", all of the images of the products in that category will be shown, without any descriptions. It is only when a customer clicks on a product's image that he/she can see the description and such.

Some f not all of what you want can be controlled in the admin > configuration > productlisting area.

See if this will generate the look that you want first.

Well, I was able to take off the names of the product and its price, to only show the image. However, it still only showed 1 image per table.

Anyone know how to show 3 product images per table?

I found a download called Column Layout Grid that was just what I was looking for.

Does ths mean with your new mod the product descriptions do not show in the product listing pages as you were looking for?
