Can a Product be an Attribute?

I have really a single product, a house plan, which is composed of many attributes. Some of the options are really products (shed, for example) that can be ordered on their own under a different scenario. I want the prices to be consistent throughout, so is there any way for a product to be used as an attribute? Or do I have to maintain two price entries for this entity, one as a product and one as an option?

However, you might look and see what you can do with the Cross Sell add-on ... that may help with what you are looking to do ...

Thanks for the info Ajeh. I did look at cross-sell and it would take a lot of rewriting to force it to my purpose from what I could tell. Good to know about, though.
