Default Re: How can this be set up ?

Ajeh - I did as your PM just stated, and Im doing as you asked.
    week 1 -$29
week 2 -$50.75 which is adding 75% from the week 1 price.

    week 1 attributes
    Price +29.00
    Weight 0.00
    Order 0.00
    One Time: 0.00
    Price Factor: 0.00
    Offset: 0.00
    One Time Factor: 0.00
    Offset: 0.00

    week 2 attributes
    Price +29.00
    Weight 0.00
    Order 0.00
    One Time: 0.00
    Price Factor: 1
    Offset: 0.5 changed to .75
    One Time Factor: 0.00
    Offset: 0.00

That shows the prices of $29 for week one and $43.50 but it should be $50.75. So I changed the offset to .75. But when I add it to the cart. The price in the cart is $65.25

Do you have both the Product Price set to 29.00 and the Attribute Price set to 29.00?

Note: you can just use attribute price flat out:

    1 week 29.00
    2 week 50.75

And set the Product Price to 0 and Priced by Attribute to Yes

Another thing. How can I make them only add it once? Because they can add a 1 week, and then a 2 week.

You could set the Product to hide the quantity box ... and Max 1

I have set the product max at 1 like you said. But its able to add 1 1week product and 1 2 week product. I would like it to only add a max of 1 product reguardless of the week amount. Is this possible ?

Set the Mixed to ON ...

This way the attribute combo is adding together to make the Maximum and not treated separately ...

Say the Products Price is $10.00

Week 1 is 1 on the Price Factor $10.00 Offset is 1 $10.00
    $10 + 10+(10 -10) = $10

Week 2 is 2 on the Price Factor $20.00 Offset is 1
    $10 + $10.00 20+(10 -10) = $20

Week 3 is 3 on the Price Factor $30.00 Offset is 1 $10.00
    $10 + 30+(10 -10) = $30

Then to alter the price you can adjust the Price factor so that these give a discount based on number of weeks ...

Then if you later change the price of the product, the attributes will proportionally change in price for you ...
I am also wanting to rent traffic barricades, most likely by the month since I have to deliver to customer and cannot offer next day delivery so would like to explore both a monthly and weekly option.
First question - should I set up the months and weeks as OPRION NAMES or OPTION VALUES?
Second - You mentioned in above quote Price Factor - where do I locate that function?
Third - Any way I can set this up so they can pre-book since I will run out of traffic barricades and want customers to pre-book
Fourth - Any way to establish a deposit charge in each rental selection?

    THANKS!!!!
