    Default SSL/Login Question...

Okay, just a warning... I am fairly new and this is my first post. My store has been working just fine until recently my host migrated most of us to a new server.

My problem is that now... I can see all of my secure pages but when I try to do anything it just loops me back around to the original page. I got to my admin and I login and it takes me right back to the admin sign on page. Same thing when someone tries to login as a customer on my site. You can create an account, you just can't login. It will just loop them back to the homepage. I have tried sending an e-mail form on the contact us page and it says it went through but I never receive it.

My host support is working on this to find the problem but it's been almost a week and I've got to get this fixed, I'm sure it's something easy but I just don't even know where to start.

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me!! Thanks in advance

PowWeb operates PHP from the cgi-bin - so perhaps when they moved servers some settings changed e.g. the path to the cgi-bin. When your site is installed with them some references to the cgi bin are installed into the head of every root level file. If their cgi pathways/settings have changed then maybe the references in your files need to be changed also.

Basically it's them that messed up, so it's up to them to sort it out.

Thanks so much for replying... I guess I'll just have to wait and let them sort it out... at least I know there's not much I can do so I won't sit here for hours trying :)

    Thanks again

    Default Update?

I have a client wit Powweb who this happened to as well and she cannot log in. I was hoping the problem would be as simple as adjusting the configuration file, but that does not appear to be the case. Were they able to resolve this for you?

i would edit config file and remove ssl from both and reinstall ssl certificates to server and then turn ssl on.
