Default problem with cursor placement in IE

I've done some research on this but I can't find anything. In IE and aol, when using a form, users have to click exactly on the leftmost side of the text box. If they click anywhere else in the box the cursor does not show up and they can't type. Other browsers are fine.

still broken, help! I don't think it's the css - does anyone know where I can find the code that draws the form so that I could try changing that?
