Premature end of script headers: php-script

Hi, I use zen cart 1.3.0 and it used to work perfectly and customer can get order confirmation instantly after order accept by paypal until I moved to another host, the problem is: PayPal can get the payment and PayPal also return to my site, customer can see check_success.php page and admin area can see paypal visit ipn_main_handler.php. but the order confirmation email DOES NOT send out! within host error log, there is message "[error] [client 216.113.188.202] Premature end of script headers: php-script", this IP is PayPal IPN, so it does look it premature end of ......., what does "Premature end of script headers: php-script" real mean here? can anyone help me on solve this problem please?

Are all the other emails working properly?

Try reuploading the PayPal files (including the IPN file in the root directory) then uninstall and reinstall the module from the admin.

What version of PHP?
What version of Apache/IIS?

You said you switched hosts recently .... from who to whom?
Did you encounter any "other" issues after switching hosts?

--from resellerzoom.com (US) to register1.net (UK host), it was working prefectly with resellerzoom.

Did you encounter any "other" issues after switching hosts?
--yes, one other issue, there are 2 times I have problem to access to my website, error message as "0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
in:
[delete from dt_db_cache]

I saw your another post talking about "the host is running PHP as CGI", which my host has confirm this. they said " Yes for security and functionality we do run PHP as a CGI."

So apart from move to another host again, do you think is there anything I can do to fix it?

Hi,

I moved the host and new host site is running under PHP 4.4.2 with mod_php, not as a CGI. But I still don't get order confirmation email sent.

PayPal IPN did return to my site but the access log message are differnet, it said

216.113.188.202 - - [30/Jun/2006:10:45:08 +0100] "POST /ipn_main_handler.php HTTP/1.0" 200 0 "-" "-"

also, there is no error message about PayPal IPN.

does anyone know what is wrong with this?

Hi, I moved the server but it doesn't help, then I upgrade to 1.3.02, it works now.
