Change link-styles on categories menu and display manufacturer

Hi every1

I want to make my category menu more "nice". All my categories and sub-categories is kinda "squeezed" together. How can I change the height between botton of subcategoy and the next main category?

And what do I have to change if I want to display a list of manufacturers?

If you are using ZenCart version 1.3.x this is controlled in the stylesheet.css file.

Determine the class of what you want to change find it in the css file and add or adjust margins and or padding.

Just for the record: I am not Gods gift to this planet so I need a "step by step" instruction if you can please give me that.

I have made a a.menu:link........ part in the stylesheet.css, but where do I put it in what file so it will work?
