    Default Floating Home

    I am trying to nail down a few little issues - I have a home button at the bottom of the page that just won't go where i want it to. I have managed to fix it horizontally, but I cannot get it to land in the same spot vertically, and/or appear at all in IE. I would love to fix it about 10px above the Copywrite Zen Cart. Anyone have a quick fix? Thanks

    Let's start by finding out how you managed to get a copy of the top navigation at the bottom of the featured products.

    Even FireFox is so confused that it won't display a div for the added home button.

    It's not a bug - it's a feature!
    I don't know how I did that. It's been there through so many changes that I thought it was supposed to be there - and it kind of works. I had alot of problems with wrap around. i would hate to have to go back to the start with this. I have broken out all the NavSup into their own div's..

    on line 177 of the stylesheet you have a comma "," after the #navSuppWrapper causing FireFox to throw it out.

    Let's see what fixing that does.

    Thanks
    Got that out, but I think i have more problems elsewhere. I managed to move it to BDC in FF, but still can't get it right in IE. Also, I'm having trouble with the tagline now - it's supposed to be invisible, but it shows up on the far right in IE. Very strange.

    Are you using Adobe GoLive?

    The reason I asked about GoLive is that it's putting cs.... tags all over your documents resulting in 11 errors and 104 warnings. That may be one of the reasons IE is taking a dump on you.

    ZenCart uses a mucho different method of incorporating JavaScript. GoLive is throwing the Cs calls everywhere just to make sure it has the file IF it needs it.

    Do a Google Group search for "csscriptdict import" and check for a workaround if you do not want to give up GoLive.

    IMHO folks should RUN NOT WALK from "helpful" editing programs like GoLive and FrontPage. That kind of help you won't appreciate in the long run.

    <soapbox>
    For others who might read this and not have FrontPage or GoLive, here's an example. Open Word and type "Hello World". Save the file to your desktop as a webpage - say, hello.html Then, right click the hello.html file and open with notepad. Do you really need that much help?

    Thanks for the advice - but...what's the best choice alternative? I can use Dreamweaver, but it seems about the same. How about text editor? (I'm working on a Mac)

    At least Dreamweaver won't throw in the extra code on every file it touches.
