    Default Help with attributes

I have read about how to add them and it is working - kinda. I would like to require the customer to pick the attributes. Here is the page I am talking about http://www.machomanjack.com/store/in...&products_id=2 I would like them to have to pick the options they want.

Another question for those that have online store advice. I only have a few products if I put these attributes on there. ex:Street bike wide with aluminum or rubber wheels, and street bike jack narrow with aluminum or rubber wheels. Should I make 2 different pages for them with just one attribute or keep them in one one page with two attributes?

    Default Re: Help with attributes

To make a forced Attribute ... there are two ways ...

1 set one of the Attribute choices to be the default

2 add an additional Option Value to the Option Name something like this ...

    Let's say for our example:
    Option Name is Color

    Option Values:
    Red Sort order 10
    Yellow Sort order 20
    Green Sort order 30
Select your choice ... Sort Order 0

Now add all to the Product ...

But ... when adding the Option Value for:
    Select your choice ...

Set this as a Default and Display Only

Hit the Update Sort order when done, as this assigns the default Option Value Sort Orders for you ...

Now, the customer will have the default Color set to:
    Select your choice ...

If they try to add that to the cart, they will be stopped ... this is a Display Only Attribute and cannot be added to the cart and ensures the "right" color is selected by the customer while shopping ...
