Clone Products

Hi,

Is there anyway to "clone" a product in the Admin?

In other words, I have product A1 with it's own image. Everything is in place for it and looks fine.

I want to add products A2 (own image) through A50 (all having their own images). Now, I can go in and do this 50 more times for each and every one. Or, is there an easier way to simply "clone" product A1 and then go in to it's admin details page and simply change up the items I need (like some text and the image that goes with A2, A3, etc)?

You can copy a product as many times as you like then go to each and change the image or other information as needed.

Sure. By that do you simply mean....

"Copy the product description (HTMLarea) from page, and then go BACK hit "ADD New Product" and then just paste it into the new HTMLarea? Doing that and that's what takes so long as every field has to be populated again too.

I was looking for something more like a "clone" (copy) products like one of these two options:

1.) Click a button in Admin and it asks "how many copies of this product do you want to make". Enter it and you end up with that many of the same exact product/page in your Products List. or:

2.) At the least, click a button in the Admin "COPY PRODUCT TO PRODUCT LIST" and it auto-takes you to a page that is an exact duplicate of the item you want.. all fields populated, and ready for you to change up whatever you want on that product page.

Anything like this possible?

In your admin at the product list level there are several icons, one is a C. Click it.
